Tracey Laughing with Bella

Tracey Good News

On our recent vacation, (see this week’s The Second Half ), I had, months ago, arranged for our dog to spend her time at a dog kennel while my husband and I enjoyed the Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival. Fortunately, we visited the place prior to the day we were to leave her; unfortunately, it left much to be desired. I scrambled to find an other facility.

Thanks to Craigslist, the next morning I found myself talking with the most wonderful woman named April. Both she and her husband David turned out to be cheerful and flexible, caring and kind. Bella spent a couple of happy days in their care. With long walks to the beach – lucky dog – and a tender approach, our mutt was very well tended. So if you are ever in the Port Townsend area and need a dog sitter, drop me a line. (tracey@thesecondhalfonline.com) I’d be happy to send you April’s contact information.
