Vacations

Tracey Tracey's Blog

Here’s a question for you: what would you do with 37.5 days of paid vacation per year? Unfortunately, this isn’t something the average American can even begin to contemplate but, get this, 5.5 weeks of vacation is the norm for the French! (And they have all of that great wine, cheese, and beautiful countryside … maybe they know something we don’t?)

But the French are not alone regarding vacations. No, when it comes to wonderfully lengthy vacations, most European countries lead the way.

I’ve always been a big believer in vacations, knowing that a break from the demands of work, enjoying couple and family time, and having the opportunity to rejuvenate was crucial to a healthy life.

A vacation doesn’t have to cost a fortune – road trips or camping can be a wonderful way to have a break from day-to-day life. Or sometimes, a vacation simply means not going to work. Sleeping in, being lazy, and even just exploring your own part of the world can be restful and fun.

Do you have vacation plans for this summer? Let’s see what you are up to. I’d love to hear about them — drop me an email, so I can pass on your creativity to others. Vacation inspiration — yes!
