I’ve wrapped up my most recent adventure. (You can read about it in the “The Second Half” section here) Understandably, there was a let-down. It was that kind of experience.
But now? I’m heading full steam into my next project. While I’m not quite ready for the “Big Reveal” — there will be an announcement mid-summer — I’m pretty sure it’s going to be a fun and rewarding process for ten brave people, while benefiting a wonderful organization in the process. Stay tuned!
I’ve been like this my entire – one idea seems to lead to another. I think this may be why I don’t feel entirely ready to retire. There is always something else I seem to want to do. I’ll be floating along, minding my own business when WHAM – an idea pops into my head that sounds like so much fun … and typically, challenging as well. (Okay, I am a self-avowed challenge nut!) But I find taking on new endeavors stimulating. Problem-solving seems to course through my veins. Discovering solutions leaves me giddy!
When a new idea surfaces I can almost hear my brain whirling away as one thought leads to another. (Note to my dear cardio class instructor, Cat … if I’m having trouble following along, it’s probably because I’m mentally romping through my next big idea.)
I know my brain won’t always function like this. I also know I won’t always have the energy and good health I enjoy now. So, with reality staring me in the face, I am happy to pursue the things that nourish me while I can.
How about you?
